Experiences
Experiences are where Speedstyle Labs does its work in public.
We travel to events, cities, races, shows, fairs, and unfamiliar environments to understand how people, places, design, culture, and systems come together.
Some experiences are complete. Some are underway. Some are still ahead. This is the working archive.
The posters are the starting point. Stories, field notes, photographs, visual observations, products, and future podcast episodes will gather around each experience over time.

One city, one race, and the human journey from preparation to finish.
Sydney Marathon 2026 follows the experience of a major road race from the perspective of the people moving through it. The race is only one part of the story. Preparation, travel, logistics, spectators, recovery, the city, and the emotional movement toward the finish all belong here.

Montreal F1 2026
Speed, summer, city, and the crowd around one of racing’s most alive weekends.
Montreal F1 is an experience of racing, weather, city life, hospitality, noise, movement, and the people who gather around speed. Speedstyle Labs looks at the event itself and everything around it: arrival, access, atmosphere, spectacle, recovery, and the relationship between the race and the city hosting it.

Fieldwork project
Costa Rica
Speed, style, landscape, and the experiences found away from the expected route.
Costa Rica will explore the relationship between movement, place, environment, hospitality, and discovery. The project is interested in what happens when the route becomes part of the experience, and when the most useful observations happen outside the obvious destination.

Earlier fieldwork

Earlier fieldwork · 2025
Japan 2025
An eleven-day research journey through racing, design, food, travel, and the experience of moving through Japan.

Listen later
Selected experiences will become Speedstyle Stories podcast episodes.
The audio will extend the field notes, conversations, observations, and questions that begin here.
The archive is still being built.
Each experience begins with a place, an event, or a reason to go. The stories come later.
Some will become field notes. Some will become visual essays. Some may become products, conversations, or Speedstyle Stories podcast episodes.
The work is to be present, pay attention, and understand what the experience is really asking of the people inside it.
